Course Overview

The above courses begin with an initial interview, test, and needs analysis. Students are classed according to the resulting level. Clients will learn all the essential areas of language and grammar through the task-based methodology. While the communicative approach is central CEC always considers the individual learning style of our students. All four language skills are given the appropriate class time through the application of our academic syllabus. While this provides continuity and structure there is also a certain element of flexibility, again with the view of meeting the particular needs of the student. Each course is concluded with a student performance review. Students on this long-stay programme have the opportunity of transferring from general English to a range of other options such as examination preparation courses for either the Cambridge IELTS or TOEIC exams, or a Business English course once their level permits.
